 The Bathhouse, originally built in 1911, along with the current swimming pool, built in 1973, were two of the remaining renovations to be undertaken as part of the Piedmont Park Master Plan. The Bathhouse and pool area renovation consists of new restrooms, showers, changing rooms, lifeguard station, and multiuse facilities with space for programs, exhibits, and events. TSW was retained by the Piedmont Park Conservancy to provide schematic landscape design and construction documents for the pool area and surrounding grounds. The project is received Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Gold certification and received the 2010 Atlanta Urban Design Commission Development of Excellence Award.
